I created this Spicy Roman Relish for The Nook Farm shop & Cafe - just outside Alston, Cumbria, which is beside the protected site of Epiacum- which is possibly the best kept Roman Fort in Europe!
It's a hot spicy, fruity chutney, great with strong cheese or meat.
Ingredients:
Apples 56%, Onions 22%, Sugar 9%, Cider Vinegar 9%, Garlic 2%, Ginger 2%
Tumeric, Chilli Flakes, Garam Masala, Salt, Pepper & Olive Oil
